And just like the Rockets game, I played the ML instead of the +1.5 overnight line and I lost by 1 fukin POINT. And for the Panthers game (they made a comeback after down 2-0, just like the Rockets came back in the 2nd half) but ended in a 4-4 tie. Again I ws too greedy and chose to play the ML instead of the +0.5 and it cost me!

IN GENERAL pk+55 is stronger than +.5 +05 because you are getting 50 cents for that half goal when it is actually worth 40-45 cents. now if one were to take into account that panthers are playing for OT every game, you have an argument for SPLITTING the two bets: betting half unit on BOTH pick and +.5.

You're right on that Bobby, but as you said, the Panthers are playing OT almost every other game, that's why I said that it was worth more to get +.5 +105. But you are right, a team that almost never plays OT it would be much greater value to sell the half goal for fifty cents.
